Come join us for our Annual Environmental Law Networking Event on January 12th and connect with like-minded professionals in the field!
On behalf of The McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law (MJSDL) and McGill's Environmental Law Association (ADELA), we invite you to our annual Environmental Law Networking Event.
Each year our teams organize an event which brings together law students from McGill and other universities, and professionals interested or practicing in environmental law. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, January 12th, 2026, at Montreal’s Maison du Développement Durable located at 50 rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest.
As the intersection of law and the environment intensifies, related practice areas and fields are increasingly relevant to our work yet fall outside of the conventional law school curriculum. Last year, we connected over 60 students with professionals practicing environmental law or in related fields through this event. This is an opportunity to connect with professionals and law students with compatible interests in this growing field.
The evening will begin with a 45-minute cocktail reception and keynote speaker in the Hydro-Quebec Room, followed by small-group discussions in the Clark Room. To conclude, there will be an open networking session for those who wish to continue the conversations.
Drinks and bites will be provided. Attire is business casual.
We look forward to seeing you there!
