Care Bridges invites you to an evening of meaningful dialogue and learning at our annual Refugee and Migrant Health Panel 2026, where medicine, advocacy, and policy intersect in today’s healthcare landscape.
This interdisciplinary panel will explore the challenges faced by asylum seekers within the Montréal healthcare system, with reflections on the migratory process and the social and structural determinants of health. Through real-world patient case scenarios and lived clinical experience, speakers will highlight practical approaches to providing compassionate, equitable, and effective care.
You will hear from physicians and allied healthcare professionals working across community health, family medicine, infectious diseases, and psychiatry. Each speaker will share insights from their practice, followed by a moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A, offering concrete tips and advice on advocating for refugee and migrant populations in your future practice.
