Welcome back to Quebec’s Largest Undergraduate Sustainable Business Case Competition!
The JMSB Sustainability Case Competition (JSCC) challenges students to address real-world sustainability issues presented in a case format by our corporate partners. Working in teams of 3-4, participants will design innovative, practical solutions and present their recommendations to a panel of industry judges. This experience provides firsthand exposure to real business challenges and constructive feedback from industry professionals.
With an overall prize fund of $2000, there is no reason not to compete!
Whether you're from JMSB or not, all undergraduate students are welcome to apply!
The competition is broken into 2 rounds: a Qualifying round and a Final round.
Qualifying round: Students will receive a case on January 26 and will have 5 days (until January 31) to resolve the case at their own pace and upload the PowerPoint file & presentation video recording.
Final round: The top 5 teams will make it into the final round, held in-person at the John Molson School of Business on February 8. Each team will have 3 hours to crack the case, before presenting to a live panel of judges.
Those that are eliminated from the Qualifying round will get their ticket cost refunded (except for the processing fee).
Presentations for each round will last for 20 minutes, with the final round also having a Q&A session with the judges for 5 minutes.
First place will receive $1000, second place will receive $700, and third place will receive $300, with all podium finishers receiving trophies.
