The Black Medical Students’ Association of McGill University (BMSA), in collaboration with the Black Law Students’ Association of McGill (BLSAM) and the Quebec Black Medical Association (QBMA), presents an interdisciplinary panel exploring the intersection of medicine, humanitarian law, and advocacy in crisis settings.

Featuring a humanitarian physician, a legal advisor in International Humanitarian Law at the Canadian Red Cross, and representatives working with UNICEF and Mercy Ships, this event will examine the ethical and legal challenges of delivering care in humanitarian contexts, with particular attention to global health equity and the impact on Black communities.

The evening includes a moderated panel discussion and networking session connecting medical and law students with professionals in global health and humanitarian advocacy.
